movement in contemporary documentary filmmaking that’s often mimicked by others.
With over twenty documentaries combined along with a slue of television show’s and narrative films and no topic is
out of bounds, Igal Hecht continues to raise the standards and style of Canadian filmmaking.
Documentaries created by Chutzpa Productions have been broadcast in Canada but continue to travel the globe
with viewings in numerous international film festivals. In 2005 Chutzpa Productions won the Bronze award for best
Hecht’s films as “Edgy… Rattling Cages, thought provoking, and Controversial…”
